The frosting of silicone plate may be its fluid precipitates. For example, when the silicone is heated beyond its melting point, some frosting secretions are precipitated. These precipitates are silicon dioxide, because the main component of silica gel is silicon dioxide. After a long time of high-temperature environment, silica gel is more likely to age and harden and damage its service life.

Silicone plate whitening cream may also be caused by the fact that silicone raw materials are not pressed by the machine during the production process, and then it is easy to expose white secretions after experiencing high temperature and thermal expansion. In either case, people are advised not to continue using silicone products as long as they see frosting on silicone products.
